This lab immerses students in the world of financial technology, blockchain, and decentralized finance. With tools like FINOS, Open Bank Project and MetaMask, learners gain exposure to API banking, digital ledgers and smart contracts.
The Open Bank Project is an open-source platform that enables banks to share data with developers and analysts. These models can generate a suite of open and shared data solutions within the data value chain, often developed in response to inefficiencies within the open data ecosystem (ODE) (Runeson et al. 2021).
Organizations focused on open-source flexibility might consider Open Bank Project, which allows for deep customization and community support.
Jason and I started PocketSmith in 2008, and we’ve been waiting for open banking to hit our shores since we first saw the Open Bank Project launch in Germany 2010.
